I received an email today which provided information on two new features now being offered by TypePad. While my blogging platform of choice is WordPress, I know there are many of you who use and love TypePad. The new features will certainly make TypePad work even better.

TypePad Profiles

This from TypePad:

TypePad profiles take advantage of things you’re already doing, to keep your profile up to date and interesting. If you connect with your Twitter account we’ll automatically fill in your status. Leave a comment on a TypePad Connect enabled site and we’ll pull that in too.

In addition to that feature, TypePad Connect appears to be a way for you to communicate with your blogging community. Connect will certainly enhance the commenting on your post and how you will be able to interact with the commenters.

Go to the link above to check out the new features. What is interesting to me, one who uses and build sites on the WordPress platform, these features were already available for WordPress blogs. It is good to see TypePad making efforts to keep up with what bloggers are demanding.
