I had to fine-tune my Google Alerts after being inundated because I chose too many search terms. Thanks for the mention of TweetBeep, I signed up but didn’t follow up, now I will.

And by the way, are there any plans to have an upcoming lesson on how to migrate from Blogger to WP? Because the instructions out there are way too geeky for me.

I personally would like to learn more about transitioning from other blogs, oh say, like Joomla to WP.

Yes I am motivated by personal reasons, I’ve seen a pretty good tool Joomla2wordpress developed by Stephanie Leary @ sillybean.net – Maybe she can be a guest blogger, I’ve not been successful in getting it to work. User Error I’m sure.

On a similar, but slightly different note, as for getting readership, and connecting with the masses, I was just introduced to a new tool that allows your Facebook friends to follow you on twitter, which in turn helps increase your visibility in the blogging community.

Thanks for the twitter alert links. I need they were out there, just didn’t know where. Now I don’t have to look!

BTW, I’ve developed a system to deal with the parts of the 31 days assignments I can’t get to each day. I made a separate list of the assignments, and assign 1 or more of the tasks to the next post I’ve scheduled. I keep adding assignments to the list as they are received. I know I won’t get them all done in 31 days, but I’ll still have the list so I can work them into future posts.

Thanks for this! I set up my google alerts right after reading it! It should help me to monitor my name and company quite a bit. Now I will know when someone says they read about me, what they mean!
