Ah, but my 404 page does work as you get a page with a search box and some links to some of our selected post. Try this link http://www.blogforprofit.com/123124 You will see what I am talking about.

As for server side of things, do you have access to your server or just to your WordPress Dashboard?

Depending on your theme, but I would start in your Dashboard to see if it is in Pages. If it is not, you will have to access it via the server side of things.
