You're 100% spot on with your comment about connecting with smaller bloggers. They are the ones that will come to your blog and comment, not the big pro bloggers. They will also be more willing to consider joint ventures, guest blog posts etc.

Grant,
Can you believe it. I am just now getting introduced to Technorati. How does one know if someone useTechnorati to check to see if anyone is linking to my blog? Is this something I am supposed to know how to do? I have learned much in my stumbling explorations of the site, and even offered to write for them, and connect with bloggers who are already following me, at least I think so because I recognize their Twitter icon pictures.
But how do you get all this stuff done? Gosh, it takes me a lot of time. I guess my 352Kb computer is just slow enough so that it all becomes overwhelming.
Anyhow, to repeat an embarrassing question, how does one tell from Technorati if someone has linked to our site?
Respectfully yours,

You will need to claim your blog on Technorati and you will see then if and when someone links to you.
