Thanks Michael, I will add that hashtag to tweetdeck and see what comes up. I know there is or has been a recent update to Thesis. I am for sure leaning towards Headway. I can see how simple headeway works. I am just wondering how much of that the new Thesis will implement. Thanks so much!

I think Headway is moving in an entirely different direction from Thesis. I've been working with the developer beta of the next version (all Headway owners get free upgrades for life) and all I can say is that the WordPress theming world hasn't seen anything like this.

I bought the developers version of Thesis last year as i wanted to use it on several of websites but found it needed Wordpress 2.7 and Hostgator did not support that - to change everything was going to be too lengthy so never used it.
So... wondering whether to forget the $$ I spent on Thesis and spend even more on Headway.
What is the customer service and support like ?
Have been a Typepad pro advanced templates gal and I am now moving some domains to Wordpress. Wanted to check in to see if Thesis was still the way to go. Not knowing Wordpress well but seeing Thesis, Thesis, all over the place. I caught a tweet by Danny Brown today too talking about Headway.
It really looks great. I want to see some REALLLLLY savvy examples though. I am assuming I can still do like the magazine look etc. I mean its everything Thesis is... But More and Easier?? It handles every widget/plugin I could use on Thesis??
Help a girl make a decision! :)

Noelle, because you have total control over the layout any page in Headway, yes that makes designing MUCH easier. I've been designing custom WordPress themes for years for clients and wished I had this tool all along. I would've been able to get twice as much work done (and bill twice as many hours).
The examples you see in the Headway gallery on the site are excellent. If you're on Twitter, keep an eye out for the #headwawp hashtag, where folks often post new blogs which have redesigned on headway.
The Headway site itself uses Headway, of course, and it's gorgeous! My own site uses it as well. You can see some of its flexibility when you look at the Testimonials page as well as the home page. There are even a couple videos I made that are screen captures of me working in Headway to show how easy it is.

As the saying goes "Timing is Everything" and that Everything happens or a Reason, so I'm pleased as punch I landed on your thesis v. headway post (before) I pulled the trigger and clicked the buy button on thesis. Muy bien amigo. I'll be back.
