Blogging Gets You Noticed, Yes it does…

One of the biggest satisfactions I get is when clients of G2WebMedia get noticed for their efforts with their blogs. Recently, one of our newer clients, Jennifer Laviano was featured on the ABA’s website as “This week’s featured blawg.” (The post featuring Jennifer will not be up all the time, so we are providing a screenshot of it below).

Jennifer’s blog, Connecticut Special Education Lawyer has become a portal for her to talk about an area of law she is passionate about. Her blog has become a key source of information for her readers too. Jennifer is taking her blog and using it. But, more then that, she is using it right.

What does my heart proud is how Jennifer is using her blog to do something more and more business and professional services firms must do. They must get in the regular habit of providing information to their visitors. So the visitors become regular readers and then possible clients or customers.

Not only is Jennifer doing this with her blog. She is also using social media tools like twitter as an extension of her blogging and providing information. On a daily basis, she is sending tweets to twitter that contain links to other stories or links of interest for her followers to use to educate themselves even further about the topic Jennifer is blogging about. And with twitter, she is a great example of how someone can microblog and “publish” even more information.

I have mentioned Jennifer and her blog before on this very blog. And my reason for doing so again is to make a point. Blogging gets you noticed. But, you have to actually use the blog and you need to use social media tools like twitter too.
