Simple Strategies for Business Blog Content

If there is one “how to blog” comment or concern I get here at Blog For Profit from businesses, either blogging or thinking about blogging it is, “where do we get content.”  I know how the frustration of this may cause you to want to throw up your hands and stop blogging altogether.  And you need to know you are not alone. I would venture to guess all bloggers have been here. Especially business bloggers.

What you need to remember is you have an almost limitless supply of blog post fodder, regardless of your business, niche or industry.  The real issue is not that you don’t have ideas to blog about, you are overlooking the post content and blogging ideas right in front of you.

I have written about where to find content a few times here on Blog For Profit.  Here is a list of post you need to go back and review if you are having problems coming up with content.

What are some of the ways you keep the juices flowing on new blog post content?

The great thing about blogging is that inspiration can come from anywhere – online, offline, the grocery store, anywhere.

One of the bigger problems could be narrowing your viewpoint. Writing about the same stuff all the time can seriously limit both your view and options. Instead, think of ways to bring other topics into your niche. Just because you write about candy floss, for instance, doesn’t mean you can’t write about the evolution of carnivals and why candy floss is so popular.

Think of expansion each time; you’ll be amazed how much more you can write.
