Every day, I see post on a few of the Listservs I follow about another new internet marketing course or seminar. And each of those days and each of those post always say the same thing.
WOW, what great looking Internet marketing seminar. Wish I could attend.
Just as an FYI for you. Those Listservs I follow are either for businesses or for professional service firms.
What bothers me the most about the post and the mention of the seminars is not the fact they state, “wish I could attend.” What bothers me the most is the fact, when I do a bit of research to the original poster or to those who reply, 8 times out of 10, they don’t have any Internet presence.
The problem I see is the fact these same businesses and firms spend way too much time going to seminars or taking courses on how to do a Web site. And they spend too little time just doing it.
Seriously people, what is there to think about? If you want to think about something, think about this.
- Over 75% of the people looking for your product or service are looking online
- It is a good bet your competitors are already online and making money because of it
- Having a Web presence is no longer an option
- If you don’t get online now, you are going to be left behind by those businesses and firms who are.
What is keeping you from “just doing it?”
