Over the last few days you have most likely been noticing I have been tweeting about Blawging Lawyers. First I told you to follow @BlawgingLawyers and asked you to sign up for updates on Blawging Lawyers. And a lot of you who follow me on twitter and read this blog who are lawyers, have done just that. You have signed up for updates and I thank you for your interest.

Blawging Lawyers is a joint project I have been working on with Michael Martine of Remarkablogger. Michael is amazing, both as a person and as someone who knows his stuff when it comes to blogging. While I use to practice law, Michael has not. However, what he brings to this partnership is his vast knowledge of blogging, SEO, internet marketing, web design and copywriting. Not only all of that, he has involved with software training curriculum and course development.

I know first hand many of you who read Blog For Profit are attorneys. Some of you don’t blog. Some of you are thinking about blogging and some of you have blogs and those blogs might need a kick in the butt. Blawging Lawyers is being designed from the ground up for each of those groups.

First of all, I know there are some of you who are going to remind me how many times I mentioned I did not like the word Blawg. However, both Michael and I felt this was an ideal name to use for this project. We are building Blawging Lawyers specifically for lawyers and we wanted everyone to know that. You will not see us refer to blogging as blawging anywhere else but in the name of the program.

Blawging Lawyers is an educational members-only site that teaches lawyers step-by-step how to effectively and successfully use blogs and social media to market their practices and grow their client lists. The benefit of this is that attorneys can live the “Solo Dream” where they are in control of their careers and have the freedom to spend time with their families, because their solo practices are thriving.

Blogging is such a cost effective means of marketing a legal practice, we wanted to make available to those interested in blogging the tools necessary to take advantage of using a blog. You will learn very soon all of the information and material we will be making available to those who join. I am very excited about what we will be offering. In fact, my only regret is I did not have it available to me when I started blogging 4 years ago.

What I can tell you is this. Blawging Lawyers is a compilation of all of those things both Michael and I have learned during our own blogging careers. Packaged in one location in a form and fashion we know our members will be able to put to use from day 1.

As Michael stated in his recent post “Blawging Lawyers Launching Soon” we have been following the model set out in two great programs Teaching Sells and Partnering Profits to create and manage Blawging Lawyers. Using the blueprints available, Michael and I feel Blawging Lawyers will be a top of the line program which puts the members first. Where we will be providing a vast library of information for anyone thinking about blogging, just starting blogging and already blogging who needs help.
