Well, we have been live now for a few days with the new design and I am very pleased with the comments we have received and the results of some pretty darn hard work and planning on this one.

If you don’t remember what the old design looked like, I have put an image of it here for your reference. It truly is a complete change. Not only the design but the plugins and features we added.

We are also using Gravatar a WordPress feature which adds your very own avatar to your comment.

The plugins and features we are using on Blog For Profit are some we do plan to incorporate into our client’s blogs. However, I wanted to be convinced myself they would work as promised and that they would not bog the blog down. So far I could not be happier with what we are doing.

One of our goals with the new design was to increase the feel and functionality of community on Blog For Profit. I want our visitors to become regular readers. And I want comments, comments and more comments on Blog For Profit.

We also want people to subscribe to either the RSS feed or by Email. And that is why we remind our readers as many times as we can without being to annoying. In fact, as you may have seen already, we now have a Blog For Profit Newsletter. Just one more effort to build the Blog For Profit community.
