One of the questions I have been getting all the time since we released the 31 Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt ebook and workbook has been, “Do you have an affiliate program?”

The good news is we do now. Below we provide you with how you can recommend the ebook/workbook and make some extra cash in the process. We are offering a 50% commission on any sale you send our way with your affiliate link.

How to Sign Up to be an Affiliate

  1. Sign up at e-junkie as an affiliate, unless you are already one.
  2. Once you get all signed up, you then need to join the Kick Your Blog in the Butt affiliate program by visiting the affiliates’ page.
  3. Go to the “Manage Your Affiliate Account” section and look for the “Get Affiliate Code” link. Here you will select the “Blog For Profit” affiliate program and then click the “Get Code” button. The next page will provide you with another button to click and this is where you get the “Affiliate Code” options.
  4. Finally, please sign up below to be on our Affiliate Newsletter Mailing list so you will get links to banner images, marketing tips and heads-up about upcoming promotions.

Sign Up for Affiliate Newsletter

Once you get all signed up at e-junkie, you will be given two options for the affiliate links. The first option will take you to the sales page for the ebook. The second option will provide people with a direct link to the page where they can finalize the purchase. What is different about the two? The first option will basically provide them with the sales page with information about the ebook, workbook and bonus ebook. The second should only be used if you are going to presell them and you are providing your own sales page. The option is completely up to you.

A little bit of advice – from someone who has been there. I highly recommend you get your own copy of 31 Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt ebook and workbook. This is not meant to be a desperate, sleazy, trashy sales pitch. However, I do not recommend a product I have not either used or read. I have found I am more successful at recommending something I have used or read for the simple fact, I know what the product offers. Furthermore, those who are having the most success with the affiliate program have been interacting with the ebook and workbook themselves.

A few other tips and hints as to what you can do to drive sales

After looking at the current affiliate sales figures, trying my own ways of promoting the ebook and workbook, and watching other peoples’ approach, here are some ideas.

1. Use email as a way to reach your own list. A lot of the time, I see the best conversion rate sending out things to my own mailing list. The key to this is to make sure you only send out emails to your list about products you can honestly promote. Products you, yourself trust from people you can trust. This is why I recommended you have your own copy of the product you are promoting.

2. Some affiliates include a bonus for anyone who buys with their affiliate link. I have done this in the past and it converts well.

3. Get personal with your recommendation. I am assuming if you are promoting 31-Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt or for that matter any other product, it has worked for you. Than tell them that. Tell your audience that you have read and used the product. Discuss what it has done for you and the benefits you have received.

4. Use twitter to promote and offer your affiliate link. I am always amazed at how much traffic I can drive to my blog or to affiliate links by simply posting to twitter. And it only takes a few minutes to do a post. After all, how much can you say in 140 characters? Plenty it would seem. What I and others have found however is, you need to tweet during peak times of the day. And you need to do multiple tweets during the day and over a number of days. Keep in mind, your entire twitter network will not be on twitter at the same time. And to reach as many as possible, you have to tweet the same post more then once.

5. Don’t just use one method of promotion. While anyone of the above suggested methods of driving sales will work alone. Use in some form of combination will actually get you the best results. You can time an email to go out one day, a post up another and tweets to go out over a number of days too. Get the most bang for your buck!

Some final thoughts and suggestions

My one and only request is this. Please keep your promotions personal, relevant, non sleazy, non spammy and don’t over hype things. I firmly believe this ebook and workbook can and will help the new and even seasoned blogger have a successful blog. But, and yes there is always a but isn’t there. But, I don’t win, you don’t win and the buyer doesn’t win if you build the product up beyond what it is.

Other than that, go forth and have fun. And thanks again for your interest in being an affiliate for the 31 Days to Kick Your Blog in the Butt ebook and workbook.
