I do this each time I post to this blog. I use EasyTweets to send my blog post to twitter and it is done for me on autopilot.

While there are WordPress plugins which will do this for you. I use EasyTweets to do this and a lot more. And that is why I use it to send my blog post too. One of the huge advantages of sending your blog’s RSS to twitter is because you are reaching an audience you may not be touching with your blog. I have over 4,200 followers on twitter. Each time I do a new post and send it to twitter, I give myself the opportunity to have all those people see the tweet and the feed.

In addition to my own followers, if only a hand full of them might retweet my blog’s feed on twitter, think about how many more people might see my post and/or my blog. The numbers are mind blowing.

There is one caution I do want to give you. If this is the only activity you are doing on twitter, your twitter experience will be a failure. Don’t just send your blog’s feed to twitter. You must do more.
