Sometimes there are very good reasons not to. Usually there are not. Why should I not follow back? If they have chosen me there is a good reason. I'm not talking about those that are scammers, or spammers, or those who want to show me their pics, or sell me something I'm not interested in, or go against my morality, etc. I'm talking about others. Why would i NOT follow them back? Do I autofollow? Absolutely not! Someone told me I had to, or I was going to hurt some people's feelings by not following back quick enough, and then they would unfollow me. Oh well. I'm doing the best I can! I don't want a bunch of tweets clogging my stream that are either vulgar or that I'm not interested in! I was told that I should autofollow and then remove those tweeters I didn't want as I noticed the unsavory or unwanted tweets. Not. I am not going to deal w that, nor would I want anyone checking out my home page to deal w that when deciding to add me, after checking out who I'M adding. I have my reputation too. I'm not going to add unsavory characters!
