Thanks for the reminder. When I look at my own behavior, I realize that I when I&#039;m skimming through Google reader or friendfeed, I look at titles only - then drill down if they grab me.

The other thing about titles that Ria Sharon taught me is to always include &quot;How to&quot; in the title. Now, she was half-kidding about this, but think about it: When folks need an answer to an urgent question, they go to Google and type in something like, &quot;How to unclog and overflowing toilet&quot;.
