Its Day 17 in the 28 Days to Build a Successful Blog series and today I want to discuss something I only recently started to do myself. You should be developing what I like to call Themed Pages for your blog.
Some call these Sneeze Pages and they serve the same general function. “A Sneeze Page is one that simply directs readers in multiple directions at once – back into your archives.”
Take for example the “Themed Page” I have for this series at 28 Days to Build a Successful Blog. This page accomplishes just what Darren suggest in his term “Sneeze Page”. By taking each post in this series, I am able to get my readers back to my archives. What I personally like about these type of pages is how you can organize a series or similar themed set of post.
There is really no limit on what you can use a “Themed Page” or “Sneeze Page” for. Anytime you have a series or a group of post with a similar theme, consider setup some themed pages so you can drive your readers deeper into your blog. You not only want readers. But you want your readers to spend more time on your blog. What many bloggers make the mistake of doing is assuming too much. We tend to assume just because our post are in our archives, our readers are going to visit them. It is just not true for the most part.
Most of the time, our readers will read what is on the first page of our blog. And they stop there. You should do a “Themed Page” and get your readers to poke around your other post.
Finally, don’t just make this a page full of links. Take some time to give a brief introduction of what the post are generally about and how they might help your readers. Good luck with this idea and give it a try.

I always learn something new from you in every post. We definitely have some theme pages to start working on. I really appreciate the example you provided. Thanks!!
